Intro to aerial first flight is our class dedicated to first time flyers. Take that one first.
For aerial, we recommend leggings and a tank-top or a snug fitting t-shirt. Please refrain from wearing loose fitting clothing–you don’t want to get your clothes tangled in your apparatus!
For pole, wear shorts and sports bra or tank top. The more skin you have showing, the easier it is to stick to the pole! Optionally, you can wear knee pads and pole heels.
No prior fitness experience is needed! Building muscle for aerial is unlike any other fitness activity. Even if you’re already fit, there’s a learning curve for aerial acrobatics. Come as you are, you’ll be able to climb to the top of the silks very soon!
Yes, but it’s a fun challenge. You will improve every week. Before you know it, you will be confident 10 feet in the air.
