Aerial Silks

Intro to Aerial (AKA- Hoop I /Silks I) – This one-time, beginner class offers an introduction to aerial hoop (lyra) and silks (tissu). You will learn the basics of climbing the silks and mounting the hoop, as well as introductory poses (75 minutes)

 Silk I (Basics) – Beginners can build strength and confidence in a fun and challenging environment. You will learn basic climbing techniques, locks and a variety of poses and movements. Moves are combined with simple transitions to form a routine. At the end of class, you can practice your newly learned sequence to music and add your own artistic flair. (60 minutes)

Aerial Silk II –This intermediate class teaches sequences and variations that build on the skills from Aerial Silk I. Students will work on inversions and prepare for fun and exciting drops! Intermediate sequences are designed to build more strength and stamina. (60 minutes)

Aerial Silk III In this advanced class, you will take on new and more advanced wraps and drops, learn longer and more complex movements and transitions, and yes, MORE ELABORATE ROUTINES! You will also be able to choreograph your own sequences! (50 minutes)

Aerial Hoop II This intermediate class teaches new movements and variations of moves from Aerial Hoop I. You will learn more complex mounts, poses and inversions, and fast spins! The routines learned in this class are designed to build more strength and stamina. (60 minutes)

Aerial Hoop III – Yes, the difficulty increases yet again in this advanced class!  But have NO fear. You will master more complex routines with faster spins and more elaborate positions. You will also be able to piece together your own sequences and perform to music! (50 minutes)

Lyra - Hoop

Additional Classes

Aerial Hammock -Learn fluid aerial movement while gaining strength with the added benefit of hammock support. (60 minutes)

Open Aerial  – 1 hour open practice for all levels and abilities.  There is limited supervision and NO Instruction. (60 minutes)

Contortion – This class goes beyond a basic flexibility class. You will learn to engage your muscles for more control in your flexibility,  helping you to create extraordinary shapes and lines. We focus on the back, shoulders and legs.  (60 minutes)

Straps Basic/Aerial Conditioning –  The first half of the class will focus on basic conditioning, calisthenics, and bodyweight focused training that is universal on ALL aerial apparatuses. The second half of class will allow students to focus on their apparatus of choice to further strengthen their skill set. For those new or interested in straps, you will practice the basics. Aerial Straps is a cross between gymnastic rings and aerial silks. This is a super challenging class and will push your strength to new heights.
