Get to know Rachel

Rachel has been training in aerial arts for 8 years. Before teaching aerial, Rachel was a competitive dancer, gymnast, and cheerleader. She currently teaches aerial arts for beginners and kids.

How was your first aerial class and what made you go back?

My first aerial class was challenging, but fun. What made me come back, was the fact that aerial fitness was a fun workout, and it fit in with my gymnastics and dance interests.

What is your favorite apparatus, and why?

My favorite apparatus is hoop (Lyra), because I like to spin fast during my routines.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

I enjoy teaching aerial classes, because it makes fitness fun! There is a move or a goal to work towards instead of just running or lifting weights.

What makes Urban Aerial Fitness Special?
